Code of Ethics and Conflict of Interest
How EA Consultancy LLC works with clients. I share this so clients know what to expect and can hold me to it.
Confidentiality across clients
What I learn inside one organisation stays inside it. I never share one client's information, data or insights with another, and I keep individual survey and interview responses confidential at all times.
Honesty about the instrument
I describe the diagnostic as what it is: a research-informed tool for diagnosis and action-planning, not a normed psychometric test. I do not overclaim, I report your own baseline rather than invented benchmarks, and I am open about the limits of the method.
Independence and objectivity
I report what the data shows, including findings that are uncomfortable. My analysis is not shaped to please a sponsor or to win follow-on work.
Competing clients
I may work with more than one organisation in the same sector or region. Where I do, I keep each engagement fully separate and confidential. If I believe a genuine conflict of interest could affect my objectivity or your confidentiality, I will tell you before I take the work, and I will decline or manage it openly.
Anonymity and data ethics
I administer surveys independently, report only for groups of five or more, and avoid any breakdown that could identify a person. I hold data securely and delete it on the timelines in my Data Processing Agreement and retention policy.
Boundaries of my advice
I offer leadership diagnosis, development and coaching. I do not provide legal, financial, tax or medical advice, and coaching is not therapy. Where you need that, I will say so and point you to a qualified professional.
Acting with integrity
I do the work I am paid for, to a professional standard, and I treat your people, and the people they talk about, with respect.
